A case alleging attempted murder has been filed in Narayanganj’s Siddhirganj against 65 individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader, former MP Shamim Osman, ex-DIG Biplob Kumar, and former Detective Branch chief Harun-ur-Rashid. The case also names an additional 100-150 unidentified individuals as accused.
The case was filed following a directive from the court after Miraz Hossain, the victim, submitted an application. The Siddhirganj Police Station registered the case on Friday morning (January 24, 2025), confirmed Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Shahinur Alam.
