A case has been registered against 18 people, including former Member of Parliament and Land Minister of Chittagong-13 Constituency Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Javed, Chittagong South District Awami Jubo League President Didarul Islam Chowdhury and 4 teachers of Karnaphuli AJ Chowdhury College. 5-6 more unknown people were accused in this case. On Friday (September 6) afternoon, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of CMP’s Kotwali Police Station SM Obaidul Haque confirmed the case. whose police station case no-12/368. Sections 143, 323, 307, 506/114 of the Penal Code were invoked in the case. The plaintiff in the case. Jahangir Alam Dastgir (66) is a former English department teacher at Karnaphuli AJ Chowdhury College. The other defendants in the case are – Karnaphuli A Chowdhury College, the present principal of Abdul Jalil Chowdhury College. Jasim Uddin (52), Sameer Ranjan Nath (45), Monowara Begum (42), Shamima Akhtar Chowdhury (47), Mustafa Md. of Panchlaish Mirzarpool area. Imran (38), Mansurul Anwar (58) of Kapasgola area of Chowkbazar, Jaisen Barua (50), MA Salim (55) of Sadarghat Gosaidanga, Abdus Salam of Kazir Deuri area, Choton Dutt of Panchlaish area, Abul Kashem of Jamal Khan area, Moktar Ahmed of Chowkbazar area.
