The world is in dire straits today due to the impact of climate change. Researchers from the country have emphasized on collective global action and generational responsibility to overcome this crisis.
Speakers at the two-day International Environment and Climate Conference organized by the Asian University for Women (AUW) in Chattogram said that decisive action must be taken now to build a livable future.
The theme of the ‘International Conference on Environment and Climate Action (ICICA 2025)’ conference held at Hotel Agrabad on Friday (August 1).
More than 200 participants from 15 countries were present. Researchers from eight countries presented 99 research papers from 50 universities, research institutions, NGOs and industrial enterprises.
The conference was supported by leading industrial enterprises of the country, PHP suchas Family, non-governmental organization IPSA and Karnaphuli Fish Mill Limited.
