Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus has directed authorities to expedite the recruitment process for vacant positions across various government agencies and institutions. He has instructed the cabinet secretary to present relevant data in the upcoming Advisory Council meeting on which institutions can initiate hiring immediately.
Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam made this disclosure at a press briefing on Thursday at the city’s Foreign Service Academy.
He said the Advisory Council meeting, chaired by the chief adviser, was held earlier in the day at his office in Tejgaon, where he directed authorities to expedite the recruitment process for vacant positions in government agencies and institutions.
The Press Secretary further highlighted that thousands of government positions remain unfilled, which could hinder the implementation of key initiatives. To ensure the smooth operation of government activities, the Chief Advisor has stressed the necessity of filling these vacancies without delay.
