NN Online:

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus officially launched the “Labbaik” mobile app today, designed to enhance the Hajj pilgrimage experience for pilgrims. During the inauguration at the State Guest House Jamuna, he emphasized that the app would play a significant role in helping pilgrims perform their religious duties smoothly.

This app, developed for the first time under government management, aims to provide comprehensive services to Hajj pilgrims. The Chief Adviser encouraged all pilgrims to make full use of the app during this year’s pilgrimage.

While the app is available for use during this year’s Hajj, Professor Yunus urged relevant ministries and departments to begin integrating it into the Hajj process from the planning stages for next year’s pilgrimage. He also highlighted plans to collaborate with countries with more advanced Hajj management systems and offer Bangladesh’s app’s technical features free of charge to nations lacking similar technologies.

Looking to the future, Prof. Yunus recommended further improvements to make the app more user-friendly and error-free. He assured that the launch of “Labbaik” would not only ease the pilgrimage experience but also offer pilgrims peace of mind during their travel to and from Saudi Arabia, according to the Chief Adviser’s press office.
