BWDB gets new DG

Enayet Ullah has been appointed as the new Director General of the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), officially taking office on 14 July 2025. Before this appointment, he held the position of Additional Director General for the East Region within the same organization.

A seasoned civil engineer, Enayet Ullah earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1989 from the Bangladesh Institute of Technology, Khulna, which is now known as Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET). He began his career at BWDB in 1993 as an Assistant Engineer (Civil) and has since served in various roles across multiple departments.
