Businessmen urged not to raise essentials’ prices

Kishoreganj district administration has arranged a view exchange meeting on controlling the prices of all essentials held at local Callectorate conference room on Monday. Brigadier General Tariqul Islam attended as chief guest, while Deputy Commissioner (DC) Fouzia Khan in the chair.

Brigadier General Tariqul Islam at a function here have urged the businessmen not to raise the prices of all essentials without logical reasons.

Due to natural disasters like floods, there has been a slight increase in the prices of some essential commodities. However, prices increased abnormally recently, which caused discomfort to consumers.

There was no alternative to bringing commodity prices within the purchasing capacity for everyone.
