AC blast in old Dhaka: Burnt woman dies at DMCH

A burn injury sustained woman died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday. Sixty years old Parul Begum’s 37 percent body was burnt during an air conditioner blast in the city’s old part on Saturday.
Bachchu Mia, Sub-Inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp, confirmed the incident.
 “Parul Begum succumbed to her injuries around 10 am,” he said.
Earlier, on Saturday, Parul Begum and
her grand son Fahim sustained burn injuries in an air conditioner blast in their own residence on the Tipu Sultan Road of the capital.
They were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Fahim died the following day.
