Bulbul unopposed elected BCB President

Aminul Islam Bulbul has been unopposed elected President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for upcoming four years. The election of the Executive Committee of the BCB was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Monday. Bulbul has been elected from the Dhaka Division.

A total of 25 Directors have been elected for four years. Chief Election Commissioner of the BCB election Mohammad Hossain announced the result of the election after concluding the election and counting of the votes.

After re-elected the President of the BCB Aminul Islam Bulbul said, ” My target is to bring Bangladesh’s cricket to the forward. This is the right time to deliver the cricket to grass-root level. I shall make plan for the next four years. I hope I shall get success.”

Shakhawat Hossain from Barishal Division has been elected unopposed Vice-President, while Faruque Ahmed has been elected uncontested Vice-President from Club Category.
Nazmul Abedin Fahim has been elected unopposed from the Dhaka Division.

Mukhlesur Rahman has been elected from Rajshahi Division with eight votes. Hasanuzzaman has been elected from Rangpur Division. Iqbal Chowdhury, Asif Akbar have been unopposed elected from Chattogram Division.

The other elected Directors are: Abdur Razzak, Julfikar Ali Khan, Rahat Shams, Iftekhar Rahman Mithu, Monjur Alam, Ishtiaq Sadek, Adnan Rahman Dipon, Fayzur Rahman, Abul Bashar, Amzad Hossain, Shanian Tamim, Moksedul Kamal, Najmul Islam, Mehrab
Al Chowdhury and Khaled Mashud Pilot.

Besides, Isfaq Ahsan and Yasir Mohammad Faisal have been nominated by National Sports Council. They are also the Directors of the BCB.
