BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) Debating team reached to the semi final by defeating State University of Bangladesh debating teams at the “ATN Bangla Public Parliament Debate Competition-2015” held in the ATN Studioin the capital on last Friday.
Comrade Mujahidul Islam Salim, Chairman, CPB was present at the debate competition as Chief Guest, while Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron, Chairman, Debate for Democracy, was present as Speaker of the Parliament.
Among the debaters, Md AsiqulIslam Choyon represented as the Prime minister, while Md Nazmul Morshed Shemul was present as the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister. Among others, Syed Khalid Mahmud, Md Mohiuddin Shuvo and Kawsar Mahmed were present as Members of the Parliament. Moderator of the BUFT Debating Club and Deputy Librarian Md Atikur Rahman led the Team and Faruk Ahmed, represented as Chairman of BUFT Debate Club.
