A 24-day long vacation has been announced for students, teachers, officers and employees of Barishal University (BU).
This holiday was announced on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Independence and National Day, Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr.
This information was given in a notification signed by the BU registrar Monirul Islam.
The notification mentioned that there will be suspension of classes for students from March 18 (Tuesday) to April 10 (Thursday).
On the other hand, the offices of BU will be closed from March 26 (Wednesday) to April 10 (Thursday).
The university authorities said that only security measures and other emergency services will be operational during this vacation period.
