The intake test of the fourth batch of Barisal University, the only general public university in the division and 33rd public university in the country, will be held on October 17 and 18.
Students could apply for participation in the test for 2014-15 sessions from August 24 to September 14 by online system, BU sources said.
Details about the admission procedure would be available through BU web-site www.barisaluniv.edu.bd and www.barisaluniv.ac.bd, and mass media, BU register office sources told.
Last year total 21, 359 (72 percent) out of 29,690 registered applicants attended the intake test and 4,843 (22.67 percent) candidates passed according to the order of merit against 1,160 seats in 16 departments under six faculties of the university, said Faisal Mahmud Rumi, public relation officer of BU.
