India’s Border Security Force (BSF) has returned three RAB-11 members and two female informers, who were earlier detained from Cumilla border area when they were chasing drug peddlers.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) border outpost Company Commander Subedar Nurul Islam confirmed that they were handed over around 5pm on Thursday at Ashabari border under Brahmanpara upazila.
Earlier, five people including three Rab members were detained by BSF at Brakhonpara upazila around 7am on Thursday.
They are- RAB Constable Abdul Matin, Constable Regan Barua, Soldier Wahedul Islam and two women sources. One is Liza and the other has not been identified.
