BRAC Bank partners with VeloxPays to facilitate remittance from Australia

BRAC Bank has partnered with VeloxPays Pty Ltd, a new remittance service provider, to deliver a convenient app-based remittance experience for wage earners in Bangladesh, according to a press release.
Regulated by the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC), VeloxPays offers a secure and user-friendly platform that allows customers to send money back home. Their mobile app and web platform are designed for convenience, allowing customers to transfer funds at any time and from anywhere with just a few clicks.
With seamless API integration, remittances from VeloxPays to BRAC Bank will now be fully automated, real-time, and secure. This partnership enables expatriate Bangladeshis residing in Australia to send their hard-earned remittances easily and securely to BRAC Bank account holders, thereby enhancing their overall banking experience.
On September 17, 2025, Shahrear Zamil, Head of Remittance and Probashi Banking at BRAC Bank, and Md Riaj Uddin, Founder and CEO of VeloxPays, signed the agreement at the bank’s Head Office in Dhaka.
Md. Shaheen Iqbal, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Treasury, Financial Institutions, and Corporate & Institutional Banking at BRAC Bank, stated, “Through this partnership, we aim to provide Bangladeshi wage earners abroad with reliable, affordable, and secure remittance channels. This initiative reinforces our commitment to better serving our customers and supporting international remittance inflows to the country.”
This development is part of BRAC Bank’s broader strategy to expand its global remittance footprint, enhance customer convenience, and provide efficient, secure, and timely financial services to the Bangladeshi diaspora worldwide.
