The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Governing Council has annouced the names of five teams, which will take part in the upcoming BPL Cricket. The 12th edition of BPL will start on December 19 and come to an end on January 16. The final will be held on January 16. The BPL will be held on T20 format.
The names of the participating teams of the BPL Cricket are: Rangpur Riders, Dhaka Capitals, Chattogram Royals, Rajshahi Warriors and Sylhet Titans.
Bashundhara Group is the franchise of Rangpur Riders, Triangle Services Limited is the franchise of Chattogram Royals, Nabil Group is the franchise of Rajshahi Warriors, Cricket with Sami is the franchise of Sylhet Titans, Remark Harlan is the franchise of Dhaka Capitals.
The Governing Council of BPL acknowledged that the five franchises should deposit Taka ten crore each within five working days in any bank. If any franchise failed to show bank guaranty, that franchise will not take part in the players’ draft. The players’ draft will be held on November 17.
