BPL Cricket to start on December 30

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is committed to delivering the 11th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 Cricket with utmost excellence, supported by the Bangladesh Government as the BPL is scheduled to commence on December 30, 2024 with the final set for February 7, 2025.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the updates following a board meeting, though it has yet to announce the final schedule for the upcoming BPL.

Ahead of the BPL, a players’ draft was held at a prestigious hotel in the capital on October 14, where franchises built their squads by selecting players of their choice.

Due to political shifts and various complexities, this season’s BPL will not feature teams like Comilla Victorians, Duronto Dhaka, and Chattogram Challengers, which participated in the last edition.
