BPL Cricket resumes today

After one-day recess, the Ispahani Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket resumes at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, the port city of the country today.
Comilla Victorians will take on Sylhet Strikers in the day’s first match, which will begin at 1:30pm. Rangpur Riders will meet Fortune Barishal in the day’s second match, which will start at 6:30pm. Private satellite channel GTV, private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the matches live.
Rangpur Riders have confirmed their play-off berth gaining 16 points from 10 matches. Comilla Victorians have achieved the second position collecting 14 points from nine matches. Fortune Barishal have secured the third position bagging 12 points from 10 matches.
Chattogram Challengers have taken the fourth spot claiming 12 points from 11 matches.
Khulna Tigers have attained the fifth position grabbing 10 points from 10 matches.
Sylhet Strikers are out of title race earning six points from 10 matches.
Duradanto Dhaka are also out of the title race as they remained with two points from maximum 12 matches.
Alex Ross of Durdanto Dhaka is the top scorer with 352 runs with an average of 39.11.
Towhid Hridoy of Comilla Victorians is the second highest scorer with 341 runs with an average of 48.71.
Mohammad Naim of Durdanto Dhaka is the third highest scorer with 310 runs with an average of 25.83.
Shoriful Islam of Durdanto Dhaka is the highest wicket taker with 22 wickets with an average of 15.86.
Mahedi Hasan of Rangpur Riders is the second highest wicket taker with 15 wickets with an average of 12.53.
Shakib Al Hasan of Rangpur Riders is the third highest wicket taker with 13 wickets with an average of 16.84.
