After one-day recess, the Dutch-Bangla Bank Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket resumes today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur. Chittagong Kings will take on Durbar Rajshahi in the day’s first match, which will start at 1:30pm, while Fortune Barishal will face Dhaka Capitals in the day’s second game, which will begin 6:30pm. Private satellite sports channel T Sports and private satellite channel GTV will telecast the matches live from the venue.
Rangpur Riders led the points table gaining 16 points from 10 matches, while Fortune Barishal also collected 16 points from as many outings. By virtue of better run rate, Rangpur took the top spot. Barishal took the second position. Rangpur and Barishal confirmed their place in last four phase. Durbar Rajshahi took the third spot grabbing 12 points from 12 matches.
Chittagong Kings took the fourth spot bagging 10 points from nine matches.
Khulna Tigers took the fifth position collecting eight points from 10 matches.
Dhaka Capitals took the sixth spot attaining six points from 10 matches.
Sylhet Strikers took the seventh position with four points from 11 outings.
Tanzid Hasan Tamim of Dhaka Capitals is the highest scorer with 420 runs. His strike rate is 143.83.
Anamul Haque of Durbar Rajshahi is the second highest run getter with 392 runs. His strike rate is 130.66.
Zakir Hasan of Sylhet Strikers is the third highest scorer with 370 runs. His strike rate is 139.62.
Taskin Ahmed of Durbar Rajshahi is the highest wicket taker with 25 wickets. His average is 12.04. Khushdil Shah of Rangpur Riders is the second highest wicket taker with 17 wickets. His average is 9.94.
Faheem Ashraf of Fortune Barishal is the third highest wicket taker with 17 wickets. His average is 15.47.
