In a significant step toward enhancing bilateral trade and investment, Humayun Rashid, President of the Bangladesh Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BPCCI), and Imran Ahmed, Vice President of BPCCI, has recently met with Nina P. Cainglet, the Philippine ambassador to Bangladesh.
The meeting was held on Tuesday. During the meeting, the delegation from BPCCI discussed pivotal topics and underscored the need for strengthening economic ties between Bangladesh and the Philippines.
Prospective sectors for increasing bilateral ties include market development of agro products and services, skill development and technology training transfer, air connectivity, and logistics and communication services.
Both parties emphasized the potential for expanding trade in agricultural goods, aiming to enhance the agricultural supply chain and increase the variety of agro products available in both countries.
