‘BOU committed to ensuring higher education quality’

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations under the 2025 academic session of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) were held in two shifts-morning and afternoon-simultaneously across the country on Friday.
On this occasion, the Honourable Vice-Chancellor of BOU, Professor Dr. A. B. M.Obaidul Islam, visited the university’s HSC examination centre located at Khanjahan Ali Degree College in Bagerhat district.
During the visit, the Vice-Chancellor observed the overall examination environment, student attendance, and centre management. He expressed his satisfaction with the disciplined and fair conduct of the examination and extended his appreciation to the centre coordinator, invigilators, and all responsible staff for their sincere efforts.
While speaking during the visit, the Vice-Chancellor stated, “Bangladesh Open University is working tirelessly to spread the light of education across the country. We are fully committed to ensuring quality education and fair evaluation at the HSC level. BOU remains vigilant in upholding a smooth and neutral examination process at all times.”
At the end of the visit, the Vice-Chancellor held a discussion with concerned officials on the overall management of the examination and expressed his gratitude to the local administration, college authorities, and BOU field-level officials for their cooperation. He was accompanied by Mr. Md. Abdul Hannan, Joint Regional Director of BOU’s Bagerhat Sub-regional Centre.
