Both DSE, CSE index gain Tuesday

UNB, Dhaka :
Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — gained on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 47.46 points or nearly 1.04 percent to close at 4602.44 on the day. Of the issues traded, 207 increased, 67 declined and 30 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 551.66 crore changed hands at the DSE on Tuesday.
The day’s top 10 gainers at the DSE were Agni Systems, RD Food, In Tech, Nitol Insurance, Deshbandhu Polymer, Popular Life Insurance, Legacy Footwear, ICB, Keya Cosmetics, and Fine Foods.
The key CSE index, CSCX gained 78.22 points to close at 8675.05 on the day. Of the issues traded, 147 increased, 52 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
