An author and editor of 113 books, Rabbani Choudhury has been appreciated by literary stalwarts and leading personalities. A particular side of his contribution to our literature is rhyme. As a rhymer of credit, he has been praised by Poet Bonde Ali Mia, Poet Shamsur Rahman, Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury, Prof. Kabir Chowdhury, Dr. Ashraf Siddiqi, Poet Amitabh Chowdhury, Poet Dilwar, Poet Mohammad Nurul Huda, Selina Hosain, Poet Fazle Khoda, Khaleq bin Zain uddin, Shamsul Karim Kayes, Dr. Tapan Bagchi and others.
Rabbani Choudhury’s first book of rhymes ‘Jontrona Montrona’ was published in 1979, with cover by eminant artist cartoonist Shaikh Tofazzal Hosain. Till to-day, a series of 58 books of rhymes of Rabbani Choudhury have been published. Protiva Prokash has published 45 of his books in one volume ‘Rabbani Choudhury Chhora Rochonaboli Prothom Khondo’ (Rhymes of Rabbani Choudhury 1st Part).
The rhymer in his ‘Amar kotha’ (My words) has focused on his books of rhymes and literary figures, who appreciated and praised his creativity in this sphere of children juvenile literature. The cover designers and illustrators of his books are Hashem Khan, Uttam Sen, Samar Mazumdar, Mashuk Helal, Dhrubo Esh and some renowned artists. The rhymer of this huge volume has expressed his indebtedness to all concerned. He has also thanked the publishers Mustafa Salim (Utso) Osman Ghani (Agami) Zahirul Abedin Jewel (Ityadi Gronthoprokash), Sikdar Abul Bashar (Gatidhara) including Dewan Aziz (Pankiraz) and Imran Parash (Kanamachhi Publications).

Rabbani Choudhury’s rhymes focus on our history, culture, tradition, moral values and contemporary life. His rhymes deserve appreciation for excellent presentation. He raises his voice against injustice, corruption and exploitation, speaks on behalf of toiling mass and glorious heritage of this peace loving nation.
The book has been dedicated to author’s father Abdul Mannan Chowdhury and mother Fariza Chowdhury.
