Tanim Noor to Bring Humayun Ahmed’s Kichukkhon to Life on the Big Screen with Bonolota Express. After the acclaim of Utsab, Noor announced the project in a 52-minute Facebook motion video, revealing that Bonolota Express is an adaptation of Humayun Ahmed’s novel. The film stars Mosharraf Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Shariful Razz, and Sabila Nur, with one more major character kept under wraps.
Principal photography is planned to begin in December across Dhaka and exterior locations, with a significant sequence on a train. Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 is the targeted release window. The collaboration marks a reunion for Karim and Chowdhury, who previously shared the screen in Television.
