A seminar was held in the capital, organised by the Bangladesh National Hindu Social Reform Association (BNSRA).
The keynote paper was presented by Professor Dr. Gyanath Sarkar. The chief guest was valiant freedom fighter Subrata Chowdhury, Senior Advocate of the Bangladesh Supreme Court and President of the Bholananda Giri Ashram Trust, says a press release.
Participants in the discussion included Senior Advocate and freedom fighter Dr. J.K. Pal, General Secretary of the United Sanatan Parishad Pradip Kumar Acharya, former Joint Secretary Dr. Samir Kumar Biswas, former Keeper of the National Museum Dr. Bijoy Krishna Bonik, Director of Bangla Academy Dr. Tapan Bagchi, and Member-Secretary of the Caste-Abolition Coalition Advocate Utpal Biswas.
One of the key objectives of the seminar was to formulate policy recommendations for government and non-government organizations based on research findings, to enhance social cohesion and identify mechanisms for inclusive employment initiatives.
