BNP has scheduled its extended meeting for February 27, with participation from central leaders, as well as the presidents and general secretaries of all district, city, thana, and upazila units, senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference at BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan, Rizvi stated that the meeting will bring together BNP’s standing committee members, vice chairmen, and advisory council members.
Additionally, presidents and general secretaries from district, city, thana, and upazila units, along with candidates from the 2018 national election and leaders from affiliated and associate organizations, will also be present.
To facilitate the seamless organization of the extended meeting, a 27-member implementation committee has been established, with Ruhul Kabir Rizvi serving as its convener.
The committee members include Khairul Kabir Khokon, Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Advocate Abdus Salam Azad, Syed Emran Saleh Prince, M Rashiduzzaman Millat, Dr. Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, Kazi Sayedul Alam Babul, Mahbuber Rahman Shamim, Advocate Syed Shahin Shawkat, Asadul Habib Dulu, GK Gous, Principal Selim Bhuiyan, Shariful Alam, Shama Obaed, Anindya Islam Amit, Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Barrister Nasir Uddin Ashim, Azizul Bari Helal, ABM Mosharraf Hossain, Rakibul Islam Bakul, Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu, Professor Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan, Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Rafiqul Alam Majnu, and Aminul Haque.
The meeting’s management committee will be overseen by Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, while the reception committee will be led by Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel.
M Rashiduzzaman Millat has been assigned to head the hospitality committee, whereas the discipline committee will be supervised by Sultan Salauddin Tuku.
Dr. Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel will be in charge of the media committee, and Dr. Rafiqul Islam will lead the medical services committee.
The press conference was also attended by BNP joint secretaries Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Syed Emran Saleh Prince, and Abdus Salam Azad, along with Volunteer Affairs Secretary Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu and Organizing Secretary Sayedul Alam Babul.
