Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman (Bir Uttam) founded Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) which has been representing the youth society of Bangladesh, said BNP national permanent committee member Nazrul Islam Khan as the chief guest.
The chief guest said that BNP has been trying to make the youth society through the seminars and gatherings to build future Bangladesh as the present youth generation are very aware of politics and the interest of Bangladesh and its people.
The huge presence of the youth in the gathering and all arenas of the society encourage his as elderly 78-years politician of Bangladesh and their role will help Bangladesh to be free from any discrimination and to restore democracy so that they can repay the loan and sacrifice of the blood in July Revolution in 2024, added the chief guest.
The 3-wing organisations of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal organized a gathering styled “Youth’s Future Thoughts and Future Bangladesh” at the premise of Central High School in Bogura on Saturday afternoon.
Thousands of supporters and leaders of BNP and its wings from 16 northern districts of Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions have gathered in the location by different kinds of vehicles from the early hours of the day.
The main objective of the gathering is to establish youth political rights to ensure their loud presence, i.e. the expression of unity, conviction and aspirations. The gathering began with the recitation from the holy Quaran and following the singing of national anthem in the same venue.
Visiting the venue, an-hour long rain hampers the programme and becomes the gathering place muddy and despite these hindrances, none to stop coming the leaders and activists and the venue became over-flooded with the people before 2 PM on the day.
BNP national permanent committee member Nazrul Islam Khan was present as the chief guest in the gathering and Senior Joint-Secretary General of BNP Ruhul Kabir Rizvi graced the programme as the special guest. In the gathering, huge number of central and regional and district leader of BNP spoke.
Ornanisers said that they had been conducting publicity from last seven days and they expected to gather at least 5 thousand people from each district would attend in the gathering programme by rented buses and coaches or trains.
The gathering place becomes the place of reunions for BNP party and its wings’ men hoping to build a humane Bangladesh on the basis of the youths’ expectations and resolve, added the organisers.
Subject-issues on employment, education, health, agriculture, technology, environment and political rights were spoken by the speakers in the gathering for getting the thoughts and comments of the promising youth in the third phase in Bogura after Chittagong and Khulna divisions.
