The BNP held a meeting with the Chief Adviser of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, on Wednesday. The discussion began around 12 noon at the Chief Adviser’s official residence, Jamuna.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir led the delegation, which included Standing Committee members Barrister Jamir Uddin Sircar, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Salahuddin Ahmed, and Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku.
According to party sources, BNP leaders plan to urge the Chief Adviser to provide a specific timeline for the parliamentary elections, along with a clear date for unveiling the election roadmap.
If Professor Yunus fails to offer a satisfactory response, the BNP is expected to resume its street agitation.
