BNP holds Iftar, Doa Mahfil in honor of citizens

An Iftar and Doa Mahfil was held in honor of prominent citizens, politicians and professionals. The Iftar and Doa Mahfil was organized by BNP Rajshahi Divisional Co-Organizing Secretary Obaidur Rahman Chandan at the city’s Municipal Community Center on Friday (March 21) afternoon.
Deputy Commissioner Afroza Akhter Chowdhury, Superintendent of Police Muhammad Abdul Wahab, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sabur Ali, BNP Executive Committee member Faisal Alim, District BNP Convener Golzar Hossain, Senior Joint Convener Masud Rana Pradhan, Joint Convener Abdul Wahab, former acting president of District BNP Momtaz Uddin Mondal, former general secretary Fazlur Rahman, District Jamaat Ameer Dr. Fazlur Rahman Sayeed, and Press Club President Abu Bakar Siddique participated in it. Leaders and activists of like-minded parties including BNP, local dignitaries, and media personnel also participated in the iftar ceremony.
At the prayer and iftar mahfil, prayers were offered for the eternal peace of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. The fasting people also prayed for the recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and her son, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
