BNP National Executive Central Committee Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince said that the long wait of the people is coming to an end. The election bell has started ringing.
The election train has started running. This train will reach the designated station before the next Ramadan.
He said this at the memorial meeting and prayer mahfil of martyr Sadequr in the mass uprising at Bakpara Bazar in Dakshin Maijpara Union of Dhobaura Upazila on Thursday.
He died on August 7 while undergoing treatment at Savar Enam Medical College Hospital after being seriously injured in police firing during the mass uprising of 24.
On the occasion of the first martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Sadequr Rahman, this memorial meeting and prayer mahfil was organized by the Union BNP.
Earlier, Emran Saleh Prince visited the grave of Shaheed Sadequr Rahman in Kalikabari village and laid a wreath.
He met the family of Shaheed Sadequr Rahman and consoled them. At the memorial meeting, the BNP Joint Secretary General handed over the martyr’s memorial to the martyr’s father.
