A two-member delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), including Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee, is set to attend the launch event of the newly formed political party, “National Citizen Party (NCP),” under the initiative of the National Citizens Committee and the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
Confirming the matter to the media on Friday, Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, “A two-member delegation from the BNP will join the launch event.”
On Thursday night, the National Citizens Party extended invitations to five key BNP leaders, including Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, to attend the launch event. This afternoon, the much-anticipated launch of the new political party, “National Citizens Party, ” will take place at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital. Invitations have been sent to top leaders of various political parties for the occasion.
