Staff Reporter : BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has announced that the nationwide ongoing blockade would continue until further announcement. She said, “We will not announce any further programme for the time being. Rather we will continue our blockade, and it will continue until further announcement.” “The blockade will be withdrawn after the government allows me stepping outside my party office,” she told the journalists at a press briefing at her political office at Gulshan on Monday evening. The BNP chairperson’s announcement came hours after the police barricades were removed from in front of her Gulshan party office.
