12 people were burnt in an explosion at an old ship breaking factory in Sitakunda. OC of Sitakunda police station Kamaluddin, said that an explosion occurred in the pump room of an old ship in the factory named SN Corporation at Sonaichari Shipyard at around 11:30 am on Saturday. Head of Chattagram Medical Burn Unit Dr. Rafiq Uddin Ahmed told that there are 12 people admitted to the unit.”10 to 90 percent of them are burnt.
