Blankets were distributed among 108 village police in all ten union in Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district on Tuesday .
Bangladesh Red Crescent Society arranged the distribution blankets on the ground of Debiganj Thana. Debiganj thana officer-in-charge K.M. Maniruzzaman Chowdary, Red Crescent Society executive Member and Panchagarh Press -Club President Mosarrof Hossein, Debiganj upazila Press-club President and general secretary Harish Ray and Najmush Sakib Moon , New nation correspondent Zakir Hossein Kabir were present during the distribution programmes.
Mosharrf said, the poor persons have been suffering from severe cold. Many of them have no ability to parches blanket . This blankets would help to mitigate their suffering . He urged to affluent peoples in the society come forward with their helping hands to the poor.
