Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) registered their second successive win in the BRAC Bank Development Cup Women’s Hockey, thrashing Cumilla District team 16-0 held at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the capital’s on Wednesday.
Earlier, BKSP crushed Kishoreganj District team 15-0 in their tournament opening match held on Tuesday. In the day’s first match, Jhenaidah District team also registered their second victory in the competition beating Kishoreganj District team by 3-2 goals. Earlier, Jhenaidah thrashed Cumilla District team15-0 in their tournament-opening match. Organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation, a total of eleven teams – ten district teams and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP)– split into two groups are participating in the meet.
The participating teams: Group A – Dinajpur District team, Jashore District team, Chattogram District team, Patuakhali District team and Rajshahi District team. Group B – BKSP, Jhenaidah District team, Thakurgaon District team, Rangpur District team, Cumilla District team and Kishoreganj District team.
