The 50th anniversary of EPI Immunization vaccination center was celebrated in a colorful arrangement at Tatikona Boro Hafiz Sab’s residence in Bishwanath Sadar Upazila in Sylhet district on Monday .
Biswanath Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Delwar Hossain Sumon was present as the chief guest. Dr. Abdul Hamid Sufi Miha presided over the golden jubilee Programme.
In his speech of Chief guest Dr Sumon said, the main goal of EPI vaccination program is to save lives through disease prevention and build a healthy Bangladesh. If we all work together, Bangladesh will achieve the target of 100% immunization coverage in the near future and we will be known as a vaccine preventable disease free country in the world.
