At one time actress Ratna used to act regularly in movies. But sometimes she also acted in TV dramas.
If the story was good, if the character was good, she would act in those
dramas.
In that sequence, Ratna is acting in a mega serial for the first time.
Title of the serial is ‘Ronger Pagol’. Patla Khan is making the serial.
Ratna is currently busy with this mega series.
However, Ratna said that the work of the two movies she acted in is getting completed. These two films are: ‘Kashar Thalay Rupali Chand’ and ‘Poran Pakhi’. The actress also has films in which she is acting.
But Ratna is not sure if those movies will work at all. That’s why she didn’t express interest to say the names of those movies.
Meanwhile today is Ratna’s birthday. She will spend this birthday with her family. Other times she celebrates her birthday with colourful arrangements. But this time there is no more arrangement, she said.
Ratna told this correspondent, “Lastly I have completed LL.B from the National University. I wish to distance myself from this subject now. Now I like the story and character of mega serial ‘Ronger Pagol’, just like I will act if I get better story. And today is my birthday. I want to pray to everyone that I can live well with my husband, family, and children. May all the people of the country be well-wished always.”
After completing SSC from Khilgaon Girls’ High School, and HSC from Kabi Nazrul College in Humanities, Ratna completed Honours from Jagannath University and master’s from Dhaka University.
Ratna’s father HM Kabir was an engineer and mother Husna Kabir was a journalist. ‘Keno Bhalobashlam’ was Ratna’s first movie.
However, she came into discussion by acting in Kazi Hayat’s movie ‘Itihas’. Popular movies starring Ratna are – ‘Moron Niye Khela’, ‘Porena Chokher Polok’, ‘Mon Jekhane Hridoy Sekhane’, ‘Nosto’, ‘Anko’, ‘Mon Niye Lukochuri’, ‘Sontan Amar Ahonkar’, ‘Dhoka’, ‘Sontaner Moto Sontan’, ‘Time Machine’ etc.
