Sylhet Bureau :
Illegal goods worth around Tk 1.5 crore have been seized from different borders in Sylhet.
Members of BGB 48 Battalion seized these goods from different points in Banglabazar, Tamabil, Utma, Bichnakandi, Pratappur, Sangram and Dbirhaor areas of Sylhet border on Thursday.
The seized Indian goods include sarees, sunglasses, cows, chocolate, pudding powder, Pond’s Bright Beauty face wash, tea leaves and sugar.
A consignment of Bangladeshi horn fish has also been seized. The market value of these seized goods is work Tk 1.36 crore.
