On the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja, a religious festival of orthodox religions, Ramgarh 43 BGB sent sweets as Sharadiya greetings to the Indian Border Guard Force BSF. Gift sweets were distributed at Maitri Setu on Ramgarh-Sabroom border on Thursday.
According to Border Guard Bangladesh(BGB), the two company commanders of 96 and 109 BSF battalions at Sabroom in South Tripura accepted the felicitation gift from the Commander of 43 BGB battalion.
43 BGB Commander Lt. Colonel Syed Imam Hossain said that the main religious festival of traditional religions in Bangladesh is being celebrated with joy and enthusiasm. Sweets have been sent as Sharadiya greetings for BSF to share the joy of this festival. He said that BGB-BSF greets each other with sweets and various gifts on various religious and national festivals of the two countries in order to maintain harmony on the border. In this, the existing good relationship between the two forces serving on the border is further strengthened.
BGB commander also said that flawless security has been ensured in 10 puja ponds located in the border area of Ramgarh and North Fatikchari under the jurisdiction of 43 battalion. Sufficient number of BGB members are engaged in pujamandap round the clock. In addition, special teams have been kept ready to deal with unexpected situations.
Deputy Commande and Assistant Director of the Battalion have been given the responsibility of supervising the security arrangements of the Puja Mandaps. He said, “I myself am responsible for the overall management. We are ready to celebrate Durga Festival in a joyful atmosphere.’
