A two-day review workshop of Bangladesh Forest Research Institute ended on Sunday at BFRI hall.
The subject of the workshop was Annual Research Progress 2013-14 & 2014-15 and Research Programs 2015-16 .
Director of BFRI Dr. Shahin Akhter presided over it. Prof. Dr. Md.Kamal Hossain of Chittagong University graced the concluding session as chief guest. Among others divisional Officer and Convenor of the workshop Md. Shahidullah also spoke in it.
In the workshop, the progress of 80 ongoing research study under 17 Research Divisions and the newly formulated 12 study programs were discussed , sources said. The workshop was also informed that during the last two years, new devices of Bamboo doors, bamboo partition and making paper pulp from rubber plant wood .
A 9-point recommendations placed in the workshop including development of BFRI with modern latest technology , a release of BFRI said.
