‘Bela and Bikel’ featuring two legends

A special drama titled Bela and Bikel has been made featuring two EkusheyPadak-winning legendary artists, DilaraZaman and Abul Hayat.

They both played the title roles in the drama-DilaraZaman as Bela and Abul Hayat as Bikel. Also starring are popular contemporary actress Nabila Binte Islam, GolamKibriaTanvir, and others.

The drama was filmed on the 5th and 6th of this month. It was written and directed by Shariful Islam Shamim. Abul Hayat said, “The drama is mainly based on the story of Bela and Bikel.

Other characters have also been given importance as required by the plot. I have acted with DilaraBhabi in many dramas, but I think this might be the first time we have worked together in the title roles.”

DilaraZaman said, “I am still healthy and well, and I can still work in dramas, films, and commercials-that is indeed a great blessing. After all, I am not young anymore.

Still, being able to work properly is a joy. Not only that, but it also feels good that directors still think about casting me and work with me with enthusiasm. I truly enjoyed working in Bela and Bikel, where I played the role of Bela.”
