Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Award (BDSIA) organized by Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Forum is one of the popular award for awarding social innovative work using digital technology. This year 1,008 participants applied in 8 categories from 29 countries for the Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Award 2021. BDSIA will officially publish the finalist’s name on their website and official Facebook fan page on May 26. The award ceremony of BDSIA-2021 will be held On June 1 this year, said a press release
Md. Ali Akbar Asha, The spokesperson of Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Forum said, we are the United Nations SDG Partnership Registered Platform (#SDGAction31605), each year, our goal is to highlight the social innovation work of young people at the SDG Global Festival of Action. We will try to give some special benefits by this event for the selected ones. Notable among these are UN SDG Academy Scholarships, UN Office visits and Participatory Contributions to the SDG Global Fest in Germany, Job opportunities as a social worker in Canada, fellowships, etc.”
Md. Sharif Mahmud, Secretary of the Foundation is working from Bangladesh on logistical support in the whole process and Md. Ibrahim Hossain, Vice-President of the Foundation is working under the supervision of registration and providing special facilities.
