BD’s possibility to qualify in Asian Cup final round still remains

The other three teams of Group-C of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup qualifiers are stronger than Bangladesh. The four teams, which are taking part in the third round of the Group-C of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers are: Bangladesh, India, Singapore and Hong Kong. Only one team will qualify in the final round from this group.
According to the latest FIFA rankings, Bangladesh have taken 183rd position, India have taken 127th spot, Singapore have taken 161st position and Hong Kong have taken 153rd spot. But they are not beyond from the position of Bangladesh. So, after 45 years, the football lovers of the country have an expectation that Bangladesh will qualify for the final round. After played a goalless draw with India at Shillong of India on March 25, the expectations of the football lover of Bangladesh has increased.
Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Javier Cabrera’s has target of the result of the home matches. Cabrera has planned to earn nine points from three home matches. After giving a heroic fight against Singapore at the National Stadium in the capital on Tuesday, Bangladesh failed to collect three points from their first home match.

But Bangladesh earned one point from two matches. On the other hand, Singapore and Hong Kong collected four points from two matches. India also bagged one point from two matches.
Bangladesh have four matches in their hand. Of them, two matches will be against Hong Kong, one match against India and one game against Singapore. Bangladesh will take on Hong Kong on October 9 at the National Stadium. Bangladesh played four matches against Hong Kong. Bangladesh lost to Hong Kong in two matches and rest of the two matches ended in draws. Rest of the four matches of Bangladesh are very important. They have to earn full six points against Hong Kong and India in their home matches. If Bangladesh can collect full six points against Hong Kong, India and rest of the matches Bangladesh can keep their hope alive to play in the final round.
