BD U-19 Football team go India with high hope

Bangladesh Under-19 Football team left the city for India on Tuesday with high hope. Bangladesh Youth team will take part in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-19 Championship at Arunachal Province in India.
Before leaving the city, Head Coach of Bangladesh Under-19 Football team Golam Rabbani Choton said, “The football lovers of the country expect that my boys will clinch SAFF U-19 Championship and my boys also want to do so.”
A total of six teams splitting into two groups will take part in the SAFF Under-19 Football Championship. Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan are in Group-A, while India, Nepal and Sri Lanka are in Group-B.
Bangladesh will take on Maldives on May 9, and the red-and-green outfit will face Bhutan on May 11.
The champions of Group-A will meet the runners-up of Group-B in the first semi-final on May 16, while the champions of Group-B will play against the runners-up of Group-A in the in the second semi-final on the same day.
The winners of the two semi-finals will get the tickets of the final. The final will be held on May 18.
