The Bangladeshi Youth Alliance Malaysia (BYAM) and BYAM City University Chapter Committee, an organisation of Bangladeshi students in Malaysia, are jointly going to organise the ‘Izjan Global Futsal Tournament-2025’. A festive atmosphere has already been created among Bangladeshi students with the upcoming tournament to be held on Sunday. Everyone is now waiting for the exciting battle on the field. At a press conference held at the Kuil Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday (December 10), BYAM leaders said this is not just a tournament; rather, it is a big step towards creating an environment of unity, friendship, cultural exchange and healthy competition among Bangladeshi students in Malaysia.
The participating universities in this tournament are the host City University, International Islamic University Malaysia, UPM, MAHSA, Cyberjaya, UCMI, Alpha, Asia Pacific University, Lincoln University and Geomatica University.
At the press conference, BYAM Secretary and Tournament Event Coordinator Md Rafiqul Islam said BYAM has always been working for academic development, sports, culture and career development. Through this tournament, we want to highlight the positive culture and sports spirit of Bangladesh in Malaysia as well.
The tournament is sponsored by TS Tours and Travels, a higher education and travel consultancy service provider.
Tofail Ahmed, Managing Director of Izjan Global, was present at the event. BYAM Central Committee President Bashir Ibne Jafar, Vice-President Usama Bin Abdul Bari, UPM Bangladeshi Community Advisor Ashibur Hasnat Sadi, BYAM City University Chapter President Mohaiminul Islam Ratul, members of the Malaysia Bangladeshi Press Club and students from various universities were also present.
