Interim Government’s Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus has said there has never been such a favourable environment for investment in Bangladesh before.
He made these remarks during a meeting with Chinese investors on Tuesday at the State Guesthouse Jamuna, where investors had gathered in Dhaka to participate in the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025.
The chief adviser further emphasised that over the past eight months, efforts have been made to ease investment procedures in Bangladesh. He highlighted that the country now offers an unprecedentedly favorable environment for foreign investment.
In addition, he announced plans to hold a breakfast session with investors from South Korea and China. The session will address concerns related to investment and focus on accelerating the process of investment in Bangladesh.
To enhance investor experience, the chief adviser also proposed the establishment of a hotline and call center service to register complaints from foreign investors and promptly resolve any issues.
