BD logs another Covid death

Bangladesh reported one more Covid-19-linked death and 13 fresh cases in 24 hours till Sunday morning.
Earlier, one person died from Covid-19 on January 14, reports UNB.
According to the DGHS, 574 samples were examined in 24 hours, with the test positivity rate turning out to be 5.92%.
With the new numbers, the country’s total number of fatalities rose to 29,480 and caseload to 2,046,758, according to the DGHS.
The overall detection rate is 13.09% and the fatality rate is 1.44%.
