BSS, Dhaka :
Some members of the Bangladesh National Cricket team reached Lahore on Tuesday to play a two-match Test series against Pakistan National Cricket team.
After their arrival, all of the Bangladeshi players were received with a bouquet of flowers.
The Tigers reached Pakistan four days earlier of the scheduled arrival date as they want to be trained there exclusively due to unrest in the country.
As there was turmoil in the country following the fall of the government, there were security concerns of the cricketers. In the wake of the situation, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) proposed Bangladesh to arrive there earlier than the scheduled time.
The BCB responded to the proposal and outlined a practice schedule in Lahore. They will start training there today. Bangladesh will be trained in Lahore till August 16 before they move to Rawalpindi, the venue of the first Test, on August 17.
The opening Test will begin from August 21 while the second and final Test is from August 30 in Karachi.
