Bangladesh ‘A’ Women’s Cricket team finished their Sri Lanka campaign with a happy note crushing Sri Lanka ‘A’ Women’s Cricket team by eight wickets in the fifth and last T20 cricket match on Thursday at Colts Ground in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka. By virtue of yesterday’s victory, Bangladesh women clinched the five-match T20 series 4-1.

Chasing Sri Lanka’s paltry total of 54 off 16.2 overs, Bangladesh sailed home making 55 for the loss of two wickets when they had 50 balls to spare.

Chethana Vikumthi was the only batter of Sri Lanka who could reach double digit figures scoring 11 runs playing 20 deliveries.
Rabeya Khan grabbed three wickets in the space of seven runs.
Marufa Akter, Nahida Akter and Fahima Khatun captured two wickets each.
Dilara Ahter remained unbeaten with 33 runs.

Captain of Bangladesh ‘A’ Women’s Cricket team remained unbeaten with 14 runs. She played 25 deliveries.
Most of the cricketers of Bangladesh ‘A’ Women’s Cricket team are the members of Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket squad. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held at the different venues of the United Arab Emirates from October 3 to October 20. Before the gala extravaganza, Bangladesh National Cricket team will play two warm-up matches at the UAE. Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka on September 28. Bangladesh will meet Pakistan on September 30.
Bangladesh, Scotland, England, West Indies and South Africa have been billed in Group-B. Bangladesh will take on Scotland in their inaugural match on October 3. The Tigresses will meet England on October 5. Bangladesh will face West Indies on October 10. The Tigresses will play against South Africa on October 12.
