Agency :

Bangladesh ‘A’ Cricket team clinched a dramatic Super Over victory to book their place in the Asia Cup Rising Stars final, after their first semi-final clash against India ‘A’ Cricket team in Doha ended in a thrilling tie both sides scoring 194 for 6 in their 20 overs.

In the Super Over, Bangladesh A held their nerve brilliantly. Ripon Mondol produced a sensational over, dismissing India ‘A’ Captain Jitesh Sharma with his first ball and then removing Ashutosh Sharma with his second, restricting India ‘A’ to 0/2 in just two deliveries.
It was a remarkable display of composure under pressure, leaving Bangladesh ‘A’ needing just 1 run to win.

Chasing the simplest of targets, Bangladesh ‘A’ survived a brief scare when Yasir Ali was dismissed first ball off Suyash Sharma. However, a wide delivered by the bowler ensured Bangladesh ‘A’ reached the required 1 run, sealing the victory at 1/1 and completing a memorable win.

Earlier in regulation play, Bangladesh ‘A’ posted 194/6, powered by Habibur Rahman Sohan’s superb 65 off 46 and a blistering unbeaten 48 off 18 from SM Meherob.
India ‘A’ matched the score in a high-octane chase, with Vaibhav Suryavanshi (38 off 15), Priyansh Arya (44 off 23), and Nehal Wadhera (32* off 29) contributing, but ultimately the teams were inseparable after 40 overs.
