Bangladesh Bank (BB) has handed over Tk 230 million to the Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund to help the victims of the flood.
This contribution included one day’s salary from each of the central bank’s officers and employees amounting to Tk 10 million, according to a BB release on Tuesday.
The rest of Tk 220 million has been donated from the central bank’s disaster management and social responsibility fund, the release added.
